We bought this item to keep an eye on our dogs while we were away...Pros:The battery last longSolid construction.Cons:Does not work with 5Ghz WiFi (This is the reason why I had to return it)Whenever I was away from home, connectivity and response were just poor (No 5Ghz support)The motor that powers the wheels is rather loud and freaked out my dogs right away.Cruising speed is extremely slow and yes very loud when no one is home..I must comment:The return label that I was provided was a low budget USPS label for a $300.00 item ((( ? ))) not sure if it would make it on time for a prompt refund, so I figured I'll ship it UPS Ground at my cost. That turned out to be a $60.00 loss for me to ship a 11 Lbs box with a camera on wheels..I don't understand why this manufacturer would deploy a product with such great potential running on a rather slow Wi-Fi radio lacking 5Ghz (This alone makes this product look outdated based on today's WiFi standards)I used it a bunch for the first two days, but I have not used it in a month. I kinda wish I didn't buy it. I have two cats. One cat doesnt care about it. The other is at the same time frightened and fascinated. That same cat is a bit traumatized, because now he thinks all animate objects can just come to life all-of-a-sudden. I see him approaching socks, toasters, and dirty clothes more hesitantly. The camera works well. One thing I did not read is that sometimes the robot will tip over. This would be a bigger problem if there was no one to set it up the right way.The practical use of this is limited, because it only holds a certain amount of treats. The microphone and speaker work well. It does not work with 5G which is like "?" because most new electronics use 5G and not 2G.I Returned the product after a few weeks. It took a while to get it connected to 2.4Ghz wifi. It was able to work minimally for about an hour and then became unusable after that despite lots of reboots, updates, and solo time. This was my third attempt at getting a pet companion AND not a good one.I like the product. I am not happy that is was not new, it was used. I paid full price for it. Petco also sells it brand new. I recommend buying it from petco of you want it brand new inside the bag. Robot was inside the box but the bag it came in was on the side of the robot. The inside box was open. Not very satisfying as it was a gift. Other than that it works fine. But it is taking so long to connect to a new wifi.We tried high-tech baby cameras, walkie-talkies and intercoms but nothing worked. A friend suggested the Dogness robot. Couldn't be happier! We've been using it for a while now and our dog and kids love it. The camera lets us check in to make sure Ms. Fortune is ok. We were able to take and send pictures to the kids. And the cool wheels make easy to drive the robot around the house. We were really impressed with the quality. It comes all put together which was a real treat for us given everything else we ordered recently requires home assembly. And the blue looks awesome - you don't have to hide it when guests come over!Never worked still waiting on my refundPros: It's a great way to check on my cat, she follows it waiting for treats. Battery life seems good.Cons: Laser has a pretty limited movement range, occasional lag can cause unintended movement (under/over turn). As for the not supporting 5ghz.. I totally agree but here are some ways to get it to work: most decent routers broadcast in both bands so for setup the router should be in 2.4ghz mode. If the router doesn't allow you to specifically dictate the 2.4ghz option (my Google Wifi doesn't let me) you can plug in an old router (with the same name and password as the new router) setup the device, then switch back to the new router and it will work (ASSUMING THE NEW ROUTER SUPPORTS BOTH BANDS).Not a pretty solution but at least it gets my gadgets to work with a new router.Had to take the battery out for a flight and now cant get it back in and theres no manual on how to do it.La idea de producto está muy bien: vigilar, comunicarse y entretener a tu mascota si no estás en casa, pudiendo dispensar comida.
