Toslink / Optical Audio Output Supports 2CH, Dolbi Digital / DTS 5.1CH and Dolbi Digital Plus. Use the 5.1CH EDID selection to get DD/DTS 5.1CH or DD+ audio . Troubleshooting Note: the receiver must support DD/DTS 5.1CH and DD+ audio format to use this setting. If the receiver does not support DD+, make sure to disable DD+ audio output option in the HDMI source to avoid no audio problem. If your receiver supports DD+, but no sound or broken sound, please upgrade to an optical audio cable that can support DD+. ARC Audio Output Connect the HDMI output to the ARC HDMI input port of the TV, an HDMI v1.4 or latest cable is required for ARC. Use the ARC button to enable ARC mode and the ARC LED light should be on, and the TV should get into ARC mode at the same time. In ARC mode, the TV's built-in speaker is disabled. ARC audio signal (Dolbi Digital 5.1CH format) is available from the optical audio output port, a DD5.1CH soundbar or receiver is required. ARC audio is not available from the RCA L/R output. About 5.1CH EDID Setting The 5.1CH EDID setting supports Dolbi Digital Plus / DD+, if your receiver/soundbar does not support DD+, please manually disable DD+ from your HDMI source. If your receiver supports DD+, but has not audio or broken audio, please upgrade the Toslink cable.
