I recently became a huge Adrian Sherwood fan and have been listening to Talvin Singh since 1996. I heard much of the roots heavy reggae of Bim and thought to myself, why not see what happens when the three collab along with Skip McDonald - not to mention other acts such as Hari Haran and the strings provided by Studio Beats Orchestra of Bombay? I am thoroughly impressed. The one track that stood out based on my memories of listening to Sherman was "Over the Rainbow". Listening to it accompanied by tablas and Bollywood style violins, it was like samadhi. I'm very glad I picked this up and hope to discover more like it.
