Aretha rocks! All the way around. This recording is wonderful. It is so interesting to see some of her earlier recordings, songs that never made to different albums, different recordings and ways to record a song, and best of all, her voice when she was young and was in top form.In the narrative of the live recordings of Amazing Grace, Reverend Cleveland says that "there's nothing that Aretha can't sing". This recording proves that idea in so many delightful ways. I love listening to her voice on all the songs and can see why her voice has been called "A National Treasure". A delight.
