This review is for the Dosilkc Video Baby Monitor with Camera and Audio with a 2.8” Display.Wow - this baby monitor kit has so many great features such as crying detection, a feeding clock reminder, hi/low temperature detection, HD night vision and even a lullaby function! The video quality is very good and very sharp. What is extra special about this baby monitor is that it doesn't rely on your home wifi to work - it broadcasts the video and sound directly between the camera and the display unit. This is actually a good thing and possibly a negative - you need to decide. What is good is that no one should be able to tap into your wifi network or computer servers to spy on your child and home. Its also good that if you have spotty internet service it will continue to work. However this also means that you cannot monitor your child from a remote location via an app on your phone. But hopefully the primary caretaker is always home with the child so this should not really be an issue. The rechargeable battery in the display unit seems to last for a decent amount of time and allows it to be very portable so that you can easily take it around the house.Overall I am happy with this baby monitor and I hope you are as well.
